How to Download X (Twitter) Videos on Android and PC

On Android

No app needed. Chrome, Samsung Internet and Firefox all work.

1. 1In the X app, tap the Share icon under the post and choose Copy link.
2. 2Open your browser and go to savelark.com/twitter-video-downloader.
3. 3Paste the link into the box and tap Download.
4. 4Tap the quality you want. The video downloads to your Download folder.
5. 5Open it from the download notification, the Files app or your Gallery (it may take a minute to show up there).

On a Windows PC or Mac

Any modern browser works: Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox.

1. 1Open the post on x.com and click its timestamp so the post opens on its own page.
2. 2Copy the address from the address bar (it looks like x.com/username/status/…). The Share › Copy link menu works too.
3. 3Go to savelark.com/twitter-video-downloader in a new tab and paste the link.
4. 4Click Download, then click a quality. The MP4 saves to your Downloads folder.

Which quality should you choose?

The list shows every version X stores, sharpest first. For a phone screen or a chat, 720p is a good choice. For editing or a big monitor, take the highest one.

The label is the video's short side, so a vertical clip that's 720 pixels wide and 1280 tall shows as 720p, the same as a landscape 1280×720 clip.

Posts with several videos

If a post has more than one video, or a mix of photos and videos, each item is listed separately with its own download buttons. Photos are saved in their original size.

If something goes wrong

The browser plays the video instead of saving it: on a computer, right-click the quality button and choose Save link as.

"We couldn't find that post": the post was deleted or the link is cut off. Copy it again.

"This post is private, protected or age-restricted": protected accounts and some age-restricted posts can't be downloaded by any web tool.
